Use of wet electrostatic precipitator

There are two main types of wet electrostatic precipitators. One is to use corrosion resistant conductive materials (non metal materials with excellent conductive properties or metal materials with corrosion resistance), the other is to form conductive water film by water spray or overflow water, and to use non conductive non-metallic materials to collect dust.

The Wet Electrostatic Precipitator can also be divided into transverse flow (horizontal) and vertical flow (vertical), the transverse flow is mostly plate type, the flow of gas flows in and out of the horizontal direction, the structure is similar to the dry electrostatic precipitator, and the vertical flow is mostly tube structure, and the flow of gas flows in vertical direction. Generally speaking, the efficiency of vertical flow wet electrostatic precipitator is 2 times that of cross flow under the same ventilation section area.

Dust collected on the plate can be washed down by water. Wet ash cleaning can prevent the dust from catching up again and achieve high dust removal efficiency. Because of no vibration device, the operation is also more reliable.  The device that uses water spray or overflow water to make the conductive film formed on the surface of the dust collector has the problems of corrosion, sludge and sewage treatment, only when the gas concentration is low and the dust removal efficiency is high, and the wet electrostatic precipitator using corrosion resistant conductive material does not need long water spray or overflow water, only According to the regular running condition of the system, only a very small amount of water is consumed. The water can be recycled and the dust collecting system has no pollution for two times.

The wet electrostatic precipitator uses the surface of liquid scour to clean the dust on the surface of dust. It can effectively collect fine particles (PM2.5 dust, SO3 acid fog, aerosol), heavy metals (Hg, As, Se, Pb, Cr), organic pollutants (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, dioxin) and so on. The soot emission in wet flue gas can reach 10mg/m3 or even 5mg/m3 after wet electrostatic precipitator. The dust collection performance is not related to the dust characteristics. It is suitable for the treatment of wet flue gas, especially in the treatment of dust smoke after wet desulphurization in power plant and steel plant, but the investment cost of equipment is higher, and it needs to be matched with other dust removal equipment. Use.
